Abstract

In recent years, sugar-sweetened beverages, as one of the important sources of added sugars in the daily intake of the population, have been a hot content of research in various countries. In this paper, we select the literature related to sugar-sweetened beverages in the Web of Science (WOS) database and the China Knowledge Network (CNKI) database as the research object, and use the bibliometric research method and VOSviewer 1.6.20 and Citespace 6.3.R1 software to analyze the number of publications, keywords, authors, institutions, and countries of publication of the research related to sugar-sweetened beverages, to systematically present the research status and development trend of domestic and overseas sugar-sweetened beverages. The research status and development trend of sugar-sweetened beverages at home and abroad are systematically presented.Through analysis, it has been found that a large number of studies have shown that sugary drinks are closely related to overweight, obesity, and various chronic diseases. The problem of excessive intake of sugary drinks by residents has attracted the attention of many countries around the world, and relevant warning measures have been adopted to control their intake. As an effective warning measure, the “health label” system plays an important role in regulating the intake of sugary drinks. Therefore, this article systematically presents the research status and future development trends of the “health label” system at home and abroad, providing a reference for the application and development of the “health label” system in my country’s beverage industry.
