Many countries have established food safety traceability system in order to ensure food safety,reduce disease hazards on human health and improve the transparency of the food chain.The process traceability index and the security traceability index in sheep breeding were selected and determined on systematically investigation and analysis of the breeding model and the invisible danger.GAP,GVP,HACCP,referring regulations,standards and guidelines related to meat safety was also included in the system.Furthermore,the traceability index systems for mutton breeding were established.The results provided the technical support of the mutton safety and protecting of sheep raising origin places.
