Abstract

Solanesol was isolated and purified from the extracts of eggplant leaves by macroporous resins, and RP-HPLC method was established for determining the content of solanesol. The static adsorption and desorption of solanesol on five kinds of macroporous resins was performed and the static adsorption capacity and desorption ratio were used to evaluate the best resin. The results showed the static adsorption capacity of HPD300 was 61.23 mg/g,and the desorption ratio was 85.38%,better than the other resins;when HPD300 was used as dynamic desorption, the optimum conditions were:50% ethanol completely rinsed strong polar components first and then followed by 80% ethanol quick rinse at 3 mL/min flow rate. The dynamic desorption time was 100 min.The content of solanesol was reached to 67.23%,and the recovery was higher than 91%.
