Abstract

Butanol fermentation condition with corn straw hydrolyze as raw material was optimized in this research. The optimal condition was as follows:inoculation amount 10%(v/v),100 mL liquid medium in 150mL total volume flask, seed age 24h,pH 6.0,37℃,fermentation time 60h,with 1.3 g/L bran addition. At this fermentation condition,Clostridium acetobutylicum 8016 could transfer corn straw hydrolyze(total sugar 25g/L) into 6.72 g/L total solvent(acetone, butanol and ethanol,ABE),among which 67.5% was butanol, reached 4.54 g/L.87.61% of total sugar was used by the microbe, and the utilization rate of xylose was 78.37%.
