Multiple frequency ultrasound wave combinations assisted continuous countercurrent extraction experiment was applied in the study of Curcumin extraction form Curcuma. The experiment was designed through uniform experimental design, and five factors included the frequency of ultrasound(25,50,90 kHz),the intensity of ultrasound(0-2 400 W),Solid-liquid ratio(1/15-1/40) ,temperature(30-50℃)and the ethanol concentration(40%-90%). The results showed that the highest extracting concentration was 0.150 mg/mL with the highest extracting ratio of 45.8% under the conditions of Single-frequency ultra-sound wave assisted at 60℃,40% alcohol,25 kHz and 600W. This concentration was 33.9% higher than that of no ultrasound wave assisted condition. In the condition of 60℃,25+50 kHz,40% of alcohol and the intensity 400W,the extracting concentration was 0.144 mg/mL,the extracting yield was 45.6%. In the condition of double-frequency alternating ultrasound wave assisted, the concentration reached to the peak of 0.145 mg/mL,under 60℃,25/50 kHz ,200 W ,40% alcohol.
